Hello, I’m Justin!

I’m a Colorado native that loves getting to explore our beautiful state! I’ve had the privilege of watching Denver grow its culture, economy, and travel woes. While I could do without the traffic, I can’t imagine our state without all of the amazing people, businesses, and organizations that make it up today.

I get to work at one of Denver’s newest tech arrivals, Checkr, where I’m responsible for our Technical Customer Support! What’s better is getting to be a part of a company that values Fair Chance hiring and promotes second chances for our incarcerated population. What a joy to love both what I do and also what my company stands for!

Outside of work, I’m a coffee enthusiast, fitness newbie, and active Jesus follower. You’ll find me at Red Rocks Park Meadows on Sundays. You may even see me park you! Please let me know if you’re coming, I’d love to say “Hello”!

Thanks for taking an interest in me and my website. I hope you find the content enjoyable and opinions intriguing.

Some Fun Stuff About Me

Lost 50lbs in 18 Months

After constantly growing from 214lbs in High School to 260lbs at my heaviest in 2017, I decided to make a change. In July of 2019, I weighed in at 215lbs and am on my way to lose even more!

Started Three Businesses

My first business, Ground Up Innovations, was started in 2013 during my senior year of High School. I would go on to start two other companies during college!

Barista for Three Years

During High School, I worked for Solid Grounds Coffee Shop where I got to train with Coda Roasters and gain my black coffee addiction. Never enough caffeine for an opener

Bachelors of Innovation

I have a Bachelors of Innovation in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems with a cross-discipline in Creative Communications. Whew.

Traveled a Little

I’ve been to Australia, Norway, Austria, Croatia, Italy, Mexico, and Grand Junction (which may as well be a world away). Places I’d like to visit include Stockholm, Auckland, and Berlin!

Mini Law Certificate

During my freshman year of college I enrolled in a Mini-law school program with CU Boulder and earned my Mini Law Certificate. Can I practice law now? No. Do I think I can? Yes.

Life Verse

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
